Ohio Sues 5 Drug Makers

Yesterday, the Ohio Attorney General has file a lawsuit about a five drug makers for their “alleged” role in Ohio’s addiction crisis.

The Ohio attorney general on Wednesday sued five drugmakers for their alleged role in perpetrating the state’s addiction crisis, accusing the companies of intentionally misleading patients about the dangers of painkillers and promoting benefits of the drugs not backed by science. Read more.

 

 

Listen to the full press conference by the Ohio State Attorney General about the addiction crisis. This is a great move, these companies must be held accountable for their part in this health crisis. They marketed these drugs as non-addictive and pushed to have them more easily available to people.
