Advocacy is part of our job

I found Richard online and noticed that he also knows some people I know that are passionate about raising awareness and helping others facing addiction.

Advocacy is part of our job. Raising awareness is good. But what we really need are innovative, bold, visionary solutions. Can you imagine the unorthodox, cutting edge approach we would apply to a residential component??? Or a treatment component??? I can….

Richard was recently interviewed in South Carolina on Your Caroline. Click on the link below to watch the interview, it is a very good message about this health crisis.

I have been watching and reading what Richard posts and really find it inspirational and motivating. We have to do more, we have be bold.

EVERY DAY IN OUR COMMUNITIES MORE THAN 40,000 PEOPLE WAKE UP TO FACE ANOTHER DAY THAT IS CONTROLLED BY THEIR DRINKING OR DRUG USE. THEY OR THEIR FAMILIES ASK: “WHERE DO I TURN FOR HELP? HOW DO I TAKE THE FIRST STEP? WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?”
FAVOR GREENVILLE CENTER IS OUR COMMUNITY’S “WELCOME CENTER TO RECOVERY.”
WE HAVE RICHARD JONES HERE WITH US THIS MORNING TO TELL US ABOUT IT.
